T8 LED Tube:

 

LED tubing is a relatively new industry that has grown strongly over the last five years. This strong growth can be attributed to the fact that they compare very favourably to fluorescent lighting in a number of different ways including:

  1. A removable power supply is featured on each tube, meaning it can be replaced when it dies. Therefore, total tube replacement is avoided
  2. Lockable rotating endcaps allow the tube light to be directed in the desired way.
  3. Added vents for increased heat dissipation and longer LED life.
  4. Improved illumintation quality: New diffusion lense allows for up to 90% light transmission whilst reducing glare
  5. Protection cover: Match with the end caps and allow for safer transportation
  6. Optical design: New aluminium reflective backing improves overall light output and efficiency.
  7. Tube size allows it to retrofit into any standard T8 or T12 fixture.
  8. Each tube is safely wired to meet the new European standards EN60598, in order to prevent accidental electricution.
